Executive Director, DOS and DHS
- Chris Schwalm is the Executive Director for CVP’s work at the Department of State (DOS) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In this role, he drives CVP’s delivery and growth across a diverse set of projects and agencies, including National Security and Civilian markets. Chris’s specialties include IT service delivery, growth, and strategic business consulting.
- Prior to joining CVP, Chris was a Senior VP for the Health and Civilian Agencies business at Salient CRGT–a private equity-backed, mid-tier systems and consulting firm where he was responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L), growth, and customer delivery across a $100M, 400+ FTE business which spanned Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health, Health and Human Services (HHS), and DOS. Before that, Chris was responsible for building and running a business portfolio comprising 300 resources across DOS, DHS, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and related national security clients. Prior, he had technical and management roles at Blackstone, Pragmatics, and Cigital.
- Chris received an MBA from The George Washington School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from William & Mary. He is a PMI-Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Technical Business Management (TBM) Executive, and is Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certified.
