CVP’s depth and complexity of cloud engineering experience also extends to research efforts. To enhance cloud application deployments, we collaborate in an Open Web Application and Security Project initiative to create an application security assessment and certification process for ensuring FISMA and HIPAA compliance for cloud deployments.

We have joined the AWS Partner Network (APN) as a Consulting Partner. CVP and AWS together help deliver innovative, cost-effective cloud solutions to many of our clients, including the use of the AWS GovCloud platform as a computing, storage, and web presence platform. Our AWS-certified engineers and developers help our clients stay at the forefront of technology and use AWS tools to deliver software and other services efficiently and cost-effectively.
Detouring to the Cloud to Save Downtime
CVP temporarily migrated the development environment of a major application project to the cloud to minimize the impact of a client’s data center move. As a part of the transition, we helped in the adoption of a well-documented, industry-accepted security profile and standard that applied security requirements across all layers of the provisional solution architecture. Ultimately, in support of cloud-based service interoperability, our quick stand-up time minimized productivity loss and ensured strict security compliance while mitigating risk.
Scaling Enterprise Information to the Cloud
A federal agency with a national footprint required a customer relationship management sytem that allowed managers to capture and report all engagement activities and opportunities with customers and partners. CVP led the implementation of an enterprise-wide Salesforce.com application and its integration with other enterprise systems. This cloud-based solution provides more than 2000 employees nationwide with access to data anywhere, anytime, to create contacts, leads, and sales opportunities, and to participate in sales team activities. The value of combining business automation processes to streamline sales, marketing campaign efforts and client interaction tracking has reduced expenses significantly, eliminating separate applications, while allowing the client to better understand client needs. It leverages the storage cloud to store limitless amounts of customer-related data securely without the need for expensive infrastructure.
