CVP adds Keith Kapp in New CTO Role as Senior-Level Corporate Expansion Continues

Fairfax, Virginia – February 6, 2020 – CVP, a business and technology consulting company, continues its expansion of senior-level executive appointments, bringing back to CVP seasoned technology and consulting executive Keith Kapp to the new role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Keith will be focused on the company’s commitment to developing and implementing innovative technology solutions and competencies that deliver successful outcomes for clients.

As CTO, Keith will oversee CVP’s technology-focused Practices including Business Transformation, Technology Modernization, Data Science and Engineering, and Cybersecurity.

Keith Kapp adds, “It’s rare in any career to return to a former employer, so I am very fortunate to re-join CVP during this exciting period of growth and in this new role of CTO.” 

Keith Kapp has over 32 years of IT experience. Most recently, Keith was Chief Information Officer (CIO), Vice President of Information Technology & Services at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS). At BCBSKS, Keith was responsible for a 550-person technology division with direct reports including the CTO, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Chief Architect. Prior to BCBSKS, he worked for six years at CVP as an Executive Director, where he served as an information technology leader and management consultant for several clients. 

Keith’s career also includes senior-level roles at Prometric, TRG iSKY, Excalibur Technologies, and Computer Sciences Corporation. He developed a strong background in technology, developing manned- and unmanned-spacecraft telemetry and control software systems at NASA, anti-virus and helpdesk solutions at McAfee, and pioneered search engine technologies at Excalibur Technologies for the NSA.

Keith Kapp is a graduate of West Virginia University with a BS in Computer Science.
