CVP adds Dr. Peter Erwin as Executive Director, NIH and Military Health as Part of Senior Executive Expansion
Fairfax, Virginia – January 29, 2020 – CVP, a business and technology consulting company, has added veteran consulting and Federal business executive Dr. Peter Erwin as the Executive Director of CVP’s health-focused business at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and military and veterans healthcare including DHA and the VA. This is part of a senior executive expansion to support CVP’s key business units in health, national security and civilian markets.
Peter Erwin has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of professional services delivery and operations, including 14 years developing new client accounts, delivering IT-enabled services, and managing a professional services business in the Federal consulting market, including the Veterans Health Administration, Military Health System, National Institutes of Health, and Department of Health and Human Services.
He joins CVP from Enterprise Resource Performance Inc. (ERPi), where he was Vice President for Federal Health Transformation Services and was responsible for strategic growth, business development and capture, client delivery, and business operations. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Health Systems Administration at Georgetown University, teaching graduate-level courses in Health Economics and Healthcare Management Consulting. Earlier in his career, Peter served in key leadership roles at Grant Thornton, Booz Allen & Hamilton, and KPMG.
The announcement, made by Keith Smith, CVP’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), is part of a series of strategic expansion moves designed to effectively manage CVP’s growing business in health. “Health represents a large and important element of CVP’s business,” said Smith. “Peter will help us continue to mature our business practices and expand our presence with key healthcare clients.”
Peter is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, Australia with a Ph.D. from the School of Economics and Commerce and a BS in Psychology.
