CVP Wins DHS Post Tracking System Contract
Fairfax, Virginia, February 7, 2018 – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Protection and Program Directorate (NPPD), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has awarded CVP a multi-year contract to develop, integrate, and manage its Post Tracking System (PTS).
FPS provides security and law enforcement services to approximately 9,000 Federal facilities owned or leased by the General Services Administration (GSA) and other Federal agencies, and contracts with various companies to deploy and manage 12,500 Protective Security Officers (PSOs) at over 2,500 facilities nationwide. The PTS will provide capability to automate oversight of contract security officers.
CVP’s Agile-based solution to develop and deploy the PTS will improve PSO staffing and invoicing, and reduce the administrative burden on FPS inspectors, allowing them greater time for security assessments, patrols, and PSO oversight.
