CVP Wins Cybersecurity and Privacy Program to Support the Administration for Children & Families
Fairfax, Virginia, October 23, 2017 – CVP, a business and technology consulting company, has been selected by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) under the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to provide enterprise cybersecurity and privacy services. Under a five-year contract, CVP will be supporting the ACF’s recently created Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and the Cybersecurity and Privacy Department to provide IT Security Services throughout ACF while ensuring the information is kept confidential, securely made available to the Agency’s stakeholders community when needed, and assured of its integrity while protecting the appropriate level of privacy of the agency’s information.
CVP will enable ACF’s ongoing transition to a fully capable enterprise IT organization with an emphasis on delivering innovative, secure, and cost-efficient IT solutions and services. Our cybersecurity and privacy expertise will be deployed to standardize ACF’s enterprise IT security posture and offer the implementation of next generation best security practices including cloud-based cybersecurity working collaboratively with ACF’s development and operations teams. This opportunity requires strong secure cloud expertise to carry out security assessments and meet compliance objectives for emerging cloud-based information systems.
Under this contract, CVP will also develop education and awareness campaigns, and stakeholder outreach initiatives to engage all ACF stakeholders in safe information security practices and adherence to security and privacy policies/procedures to protect personally identifiable information and personal health information in compliance with HHS and ACF guidelines.
