CVP Selected by CMS to Provide Healthcare Quality Analytics

Fairfax, Virginia, June 6, 2017 – The CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) and its Information Systems Group (ISG) has selected CVP to provide ad hoc reporting, analytics and data management tasks and services in support of the Health Care Quality Information System (HCQIS) applications. To more effectively support the Health Care Quality Analytics and Reporting (HCQAR) customer, CVP is opening a new staff office in Towson, Maryland.

The five-year contract touches all aspects of HCQIS, including the Physician Quality Reporting System, Hospital Quality Reporting, End Stage Renal Disease Quality Reporting Systems, Quality Improvement Organizations, and Quality Improvement and Evaluation System. In addition, CVP will support other entities within CMS, such as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) and entities external to CMS (Department of Defense, Veteran Administration Hospitals).

Through this program, CVP will help CMS meet its HCQIS objectives of continuous improvement around efficiency and effectiveness of HCQIS operations, timely implementation of systems designed to meet statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing high-quality services and support to the end-user community and CMS business partners.
