CVP Selected to Support DHS on Environmental and Historic Preservation Service
Fairfax, VA – December 12, 2016 – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has selected CVP for a three-year contract to provide software enhancement, operations and maintenance support for the Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation Decision Support System (EP&HP DSS).
The DSS is an application that processes DHS reviews of proposed actions for compliance with requirements in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The application automates work flows, stores NEPA documents and correspondence, and provides reporting capabilities. It also improves performance.
The contract draws on CVP’s past experience complying with NEPA requirements on work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State of Mississippi in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. CVP will be applying its Agile, DevOps approach to balance DHS requirements and the need for efficient system operations and support.
