CVP Joins Select Group of Companies Appraised at CMMI Level 3

    Fairfax, VA – August 23, 2015 –Customer Value Partners today announced that it has been appraised at Level 3 for both Development (DEV) and Services (SVC) of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. CVP was first appraised at SVC ML 2 in 2009.

    CVP is one of 32 small businesses in the United States that hold both CMMI ML 3 DEV and SVC appraisals. Last year, there were 2,937 current CMMI appraisals reported in the country.

    CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. Administered by the CMMI Institute, a subsidiary of ISACA, it is required by many U.S. Government contracts, especially in software development. Organizations are evaluated by independent auditors, or Certified Lead Appraisers, that determine whether corporate standards, procedures, tools, and methods match the CMMI framework for performance improvement. Appraisals are valid for three years.
