Joe Kostakis Joins CVP as Director of CMS Services Portfolio
Fairfax, VA – January 05, 2015 – Joe Kostakis has joined Customer Value Partners as a Director to oversee program operations and strategic business growth in our Health Solutions portfolio with a primary focus on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) under the Department of Health and Human Services.
Joe brings over 15 years’ professional experience leading major initiatives in various capacities across commercial and federal customers. Before joining CVP, Joe was responsible for program management and delivery functions at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). Joe was instrumental in the launch of multiple CMS initiatives such as the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) program of the Medicare Modernization Act, the Section 111 Mandatory Insurer Reporting program of the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act, and the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP) and Eligibility Appeals Operations Support (EAOS) program of the Affordable Care Act.
Previously, Joe held technical and engineering positions with the Deutsche Bank’s private client systems in the United States and managed the disaster recovery provisions of the company’s eBrokerage Systems after 9/11. Joe holds a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, a master’s in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a BA in Mathematics from The College of Wooster.
